Microsoft Dynamics CRM apps for Windows Phone, iOS, Android and Blackberry

Microsoft announced that Microsoft Dynamics CRM application will be made available for other mobile platforms and browsers in the second quarter of 2012. This is a strategic move to broaden its cloud computing services alongside Microsoft Office 365 and Azure. The move is widely anticipated and welcomed by users.

The Dynamics CRM service update in Q2 will include mobile CRM clients and services for Windows Phone devices, iPad, iPhone, Android devices and Blackberry devices. All the mobile CRM apps will be available at the same time and downloadable from their respective marketplaces. In addition to supporting various mobile platforms, the Dynamics CRM update will also include cross-browser support for Dynamics CRM application over a range of popular browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Firefox apart from its Internet Explorer.

With the Q2 service update, social collaboration capabilities will be further enhanced to provide additional functionalities and simplified access to social network such as Facebook and Twitter. Microsoft will also deliver a range of industry solution templates that illustrate suitability and flexibility of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for specific industry needs. These industries include distribution, manufacturing, public sector, retail and services. The industry solution templates consist of data model, pre-configured dashboards, workflow process and sample data.
